Are you tired of being so skinny you look like a skeleton? Are you tired of people telling you that you need to eat? If so you've come to the right place. I know how annoying it is when people comment on your weight or lack thereof. Most people don't realize how difficult it can be to be skinny. In reality being skinny for a lot of people is equal to the problem that a lot over overweight people have. Today I'd like to share a few tips for people trying to lose weight.
Weight Gain Tip #1-
The first tip to gaining weight is to make sure you're bringing in more calories than you're taking out. Most people feel like they're eating a lot but in reality they still aren't eating enough to gain weight. You have to eat like a cow especially if you have a fast metabolism. This becomes more and more difficult the more weight you gain. You may actually feel like you're force-feeding yourself. I start by multiplying my current weight by 20. This equals the amount of calories you should be eating.
Weight Gain Tip #2-
Do the right exercises to gain weight. This means that you probably shouldn't be doing cardio. The problem with cardio is that it causes you to burn calories. If you're trying to gain weight the last thing you want to do is burn more calories. It's also important to do compound exercises to gain weight. These are exercises like the bench press, squat, military press, etc...These exercises have been proven to add more weight to a person's frame.
Weight Gain Tip #3-
The last tip is to keep a journal of all of your weight gain activities. This is important to show just how far you've come and it will give you a measure of what you need to do to remain successful. Make sure you keep track of how much food you eat and how many calories the food contains. Then keep track of the exercises you do and for how long. You'll be well on your way to gaining weight.
